Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal facility security systems, access controls, and surveillance equipment during the night shift.
- Perform routine inspections of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and building safety protocols to ensure operational integrity.
- Respond promptly to emergency alarms, power outages, and security breaches following established federal protocols.
- Conduct inventory checks and manage supply distribution for night operations to ensure continuity.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs in the federal digital logbooks accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with day-shift supervisors and other federal agencies to ensure seamless handovers and communication.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new IT hardware and network components as required.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Must be able to work a rotating night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical certification or Associate degree is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, computer networks, and security protocols.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
