Responsibilities
- Patrol designated zones to prevent crime and ensure public safety during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergency incidents within 15 minutes
- Document daily activities and incident reports using digital reporting systems
- Coordinate with police dispatch and emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct routine inspections of commercial districts and residential areas
- Provide assistance to citizens and resolve non-emergency issues proactively
- Maintain communication protocols with day-shift teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays consistently
- U.S. citizenship and passing background/fingerprint checks
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Proficient in digital reporting and surveillance technology
