Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols of government premises during night shift hours
- Operate CCTV monitoring systems and respond to security alerts
- Manage access control systems for personnel and visitors
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to night-shift staff and visitors
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of assigned areas
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Security License (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Exceptional observational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Full UK driving license
- Successful completion of enhanced background check
