Responsibilities
- Monitor Facility Security: Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with all government security protocols and regulations.
- Access Control: Verify credentials of personnel and visitors, maintaining a secure environment during all hours of the night shift.
- Incident Reporting: Document any irregularities, safety hazards, or security breaches immediately and communicate with the shift supervisor.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively to alarms, emergencies, and fire situations following established emergency response procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure security equipment, cameras, and surveillance systems are functioning correctly throughout the shift.
- Customer Service: Assist employees and visitors with directions or inquiries during night operations as needed.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for government clearance requirements.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
