Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to government staff via phone, email, and in-person during night shifts.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Monitor system alerts and perform routine maintenance to ensure 24/7 operational uptime.
- Assist with user account management, including Active Directory and security access provisioning.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira) for compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover of critical issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical administration.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to pass a background check for government clearance.
