Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for end-users, hardware, and software systems during night shifts.
- Monitor server health, manage patches, and perform proactive maintenance to ensure system stability.
- Respond to and resolve IT incidents via the ticketing system with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Conduct regular backups and verify data integrity for state databases.
- Document technical procedures, incident reports, and system configurations in compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand off unresolved issues or complex projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role.
- Proven availability and willingness to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
