Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned districts during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) using marked vehicles and foot surveillance
- Monitor CCTV networks and respond immediately to security alerts and incident reports
- Coordinate with state police and federal homeland security units for cross-jurisdictional operations
- Document all incidents using digital reporting systems and maintain chain-of-evidence protocols
- Conduct welfare checks on vulnerable populations and emergency response coordination
- Operate advanced communication systems including encrypted radio networks
- Participate in monthly emergency drills covering active shooter scenarios and natural disasters
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Security Guard License (PSO certification preferred)
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or military experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CCTV monitoring software
- Must pass FBI background check and random substance testing
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification or equivalent
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Fluency in English and Spanish highly desirable
