Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents with rapid deployment
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems and evidence protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch centers and emergency response teams
- Conduct welfare checks and community outreach during night operations
- Enforce city ordinances and safety regulations in nightlife districts
- Maintain communication protocols with day shift counterparts
Qualifications
- Valid California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 21 years of age
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Pass comprehensive background investigation and polygraph
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends
- Experience in crisis intervention de-escalation techniques
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
