Responsibilities
- Patrol government facilities and public spaces during overnight hours to deter criminal activity and ensure compliance with security protocols
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond immediately to security breaches, alarms, or emergency situations
- Document incidents, security breaches, and daily activities in detailed digital and physical reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and municipal departments during critical incidents
- Conduct access control for personnel and vehicles entering restricted government zones
- Provide first aid assistance and coordinate emergency medical response when required
- Maintain communication protocols with dispatch and night-shift supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, security, or public safety
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong conflict resolution skills and de-escalation techniques
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in surveillance systems, radio communications, and report-writing software
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Physical fitness to handle emergency response situations and extended standing/walking
