Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security breaches or emergencies
- Enforce access control procedures for restricted areas
- Document security incidents and submit detailed written reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct regular safety inspections of premises and equipment
- Maintain communication with dispatch and security team leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid Tennessee Security Guard License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Proficient in report writing and basic computer systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shift
