Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned government facilities during night shifts
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
- Screen visitors, vehicles, and packages to prevent unauthorized access
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required
- Conduct regular safety inspections of premises and equipment
- Provide assistance to government personnel during non-standard hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Missouri Security Officer License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Proficient in surveillance technology and incident reporting systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
