As a Security Screener, you will be the first line of defense in aviation security. You will ensure that all passengers and cargo are screened safely and efficiently, allowing them to travel with peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate X-ray equipment to inspect carry-on and checked baggage for prohibited items.
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers and their belongings using walk-through metal detectors and hand-held wands.
- Identify and report any potential security threats or anomalies immediately.
- Assist passengers with accessibility needs and provide exceptional customer service in high-pressure environments.
- Follow all TSA protocols, regulations, and standard operating procedures strictly.

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check, medical examination, and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Strong ability to follow instructions and work independently.
