Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol county facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with rapid, decisive action
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct regular safety inspections and vulnerability assessments
- Operate emergency communication systems and alert protocols
- Train junior staff on security procedures and emergency response
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement, military, or security experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Proficient in CCTV operation and incident report writing
- Clear criminal background check and drug-free status
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to obtain FEMA Incident Command System certification within 90 days
