Responsibilities
- Monitor municipal facilities using advanced surveillance systems during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent unauthorized access and security breaches
- Respond to emergency incidents and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Enforce safety protocols for city employees and visitors after hours
- Operate security equipment including access control systems and alarms
- Collaborate with emergency response teams during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in surveillance technology and incident reporting software
- Strong communication skills for emergency situations
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government clearance
