Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol municipal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents with appropriate protocols
- Conduct access control for restricted government areas
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical situations
- Safeguard sensitive government documents and property
- Perform regular safety inspections of assigned facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Strong observational skills and crisis management abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
