Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities and grounds during overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security breaches or suspicious activities
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergencies or critical incidents
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance of security systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Valid Florida Security Officer D License (Class G)
- Minimum 2 years experience in security or law enforcement
