Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure city facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of assigned properties
- Respond to security alerts and emergencies per protocol
- Operate access control systems and surveillance equipment
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement during critical incidents
- Implement emergency response procedures for fire, medical, and security threats
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Washington State Guard Card or comparable certification
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain firearms certification (if required)
- Strong observational and decision-making skills
- Proficient in security systems and surveillance technology
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
