Responsibilities
- Patrol government facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to prevent security breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms in real-time
- Enforce access control protocols for employees and visitors
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed activity reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct regular safety inspections of building systems
- Provide emergency response support as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas Security Guard License or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong written communication for incident reporting
- Proficient with surveillance technology and access control systems
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
