Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to after-hours emergency communications for state services
- Process critical data entry and document management systems during overnight shifts
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response agencies as needed
- Maintain security protocols for sensitive state information during off-hours
- Generate daily operational reports for morning handover to day shift staff
- Provide telephonic support for urgent constituent inquiries
- Conduct system backups and overnight IT maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative or government experience
- Availability to work 11 PM - 7 AM, Monday through Friday
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and state databases
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Certification in emergency management a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
