Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics during night operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform data validation and integrity checks on federal databases.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service tickets submitted after hours.
- Generate comprehensive nightly reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover of system status and alerts.
- Conduct regular security audits and patch management updates on critical servers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical processes and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems administration or data analysis.
- Ability to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java for data manipulation and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of government security protocols and data privacy laws (e.g., FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
