As a Security Screener, you will be the first line of defense in aviation security. We are looking for candidates with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to public safety.
Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for weapons, explosives, and other prohibited items.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology to detect threats.
- Perform basic pat-downs and physical searches when necessary.
- Assist travelers with special needs and provide high-quality customer service.
- Adhere to all TSA protocols, security directives, and standard operating procedures.
- Document all screening activities and report any suspicious items or behavior.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Must be able to pass a federal background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
