Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and networks for state agencies.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for end-users.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local cybersecurity regulations and data privacy laws.
- Perform regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security patch management.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and operational reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize digital workflows and improve service delivery.
- Train staff on new software applications and IT best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical field.
- Deep knowledge of government IT security standards, such as NIST or FISMA.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain the necessary security clearances.
