Responsibilities
- Maintain and beautify public parks, greenways, and recreational facilities through landscaping, mowing, and litter removal.
- Operate and maintain power equipment, including mowers, tractors, and landscaping tools.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community festivals.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of park restrooms, playgrounds, and picnic areas.
- Monitor park resources and report any necessary repairs or maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and residents.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, tree pruning, and irrigation system maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and/or facility maintenance is preferred but not required due to our paid training program.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and public service.
