Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and litter removal in city parks and greenways.
- Maintain and clean public restrooms, pavilions, and recreational facilities to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community festivals.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
- Respond to citizen inquiries and provide exceptional customer service regarding park amenities and programs.
- Operate and maintain light equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
