Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage using advanced X-ray and detection equipment
- Conduct thorough physical inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Operate metal detectors, CT scanners, and other TSA-approved technology
- Identify and report suspicious items or activities according to SOPs
- Provide excellent customer service during screening processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and security incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Must complete 2-week paid training program (paid during training)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills
- No felony convictions or disqualifying employment history
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
