Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and landscaping duties on parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community programs.
- Maintain cleanliness of park areas, including trash removal and graffiti abatement.
- Interact with the public in a professional manner, answering questions and providing information.
- Operate and maintain light machinery and park equipment safely.
- Monitor park facilities for safety hazards and report maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Nebraska Driver’s License preferred.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or horticulture is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
