Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes including turf, irrigation systems, and playground equipment
- Operate maintenance machinery (mowers, trimmers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Assist in organizing community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs
- Enforce park safety protocols and conduct regular facility inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and address inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seasonal beautification projects
- Implement sustainable practices in park resource management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
