Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve park grounds, including mowing, raking, weeding, and planting trees and flowers.
- Perform routine cleaning of park facilities, restrooms, and picnic areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports leagues.
- Enforce park rules and safety regulations to ensure a safe recreational experience for all visitors.
- Operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Respond to public inquiries and provide excellent customer service to park visitors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly in various weather conditions.
- Valid California Driver’s License (Class C) preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or gardening practices is a plus.
- Strong commitment to public service and community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
