Responsibilities
- Coordinate park programs and community events with remote planning flexibility
- Conduct facility maintenance inspections and safety assessments
- Manage volunteer recruitment and scheduling via remote platforms
- Develop recreational content for digital engagement channels
- Oversee park operations during on-site shifts (3 days/week)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using virtual tools
- Analyze program effectiveness and suggest improvements
- Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility standards
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Recreation, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2+ years experience in park management or community programs
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Asana, etc.)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends
- Experience with budget management and grant writing
