Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities (playgrounds, sports courts, trails)
- Lead recreational programs for youth/adults (sports, arts, fitness)
- Conduct safety inspections and implement maintenance protocols
- Assist with special events and community outreach initiatives
- Manage inventory of equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park improvement projects
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- 6 months+ experience in parks, recreation, or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class C)
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for events
