Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, playgrounds, and athletic facilities
- Organize and lead recreational activities for diverse age groups
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain equipment inventory
- Assist in special event setup and execution
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Engage with community members and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Experience in grounds maintenance or recreation preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
