Responsibilities
- Manage incoming communications via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Prepare and maintain official municipal documents with strict attention to detail
- Coordinate departmental meetings and events using scheduling software
- Assist with records management and document archiving systems
- Process administrative forms and permits according to city protocols
- Support departmental reporting with data collection and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years administrative experience in public/government sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of public records management procedures
- Valid Missouri driver's license (if required for departmental duties)
