- Office Support: Prepare reports, memos, meeting agendas, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional experience for citizens and visitors visiting the government office.
- Data Management: Perform data entry, verification, and filing tasks using government databases and record-keeping systems.
- Special Projects: Assist senior staff with various ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage office supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Background: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
