Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming correspondence, including emails, mail, and interdepartmental communications.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public and staff via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems in strict compliance with state regulations.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings, scheduling appointments, and preparing meeting materials.
- Perform general clerical duties, including high-volume data entry, copying, and scanning documents.
- Support senior staff with special projects, report preparation, and administrative initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new government software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
