Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate municipal records, permits, and official documents
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Assist with public meetings preparation, including agenda compilation and minute-taking
- Manage data entry and record-keeping in city databases with strict confidentiality
- Support departmental administrative functions including filing, scanning, and document management
- Process payments and financial transactions related to city services
- Coordinate with other city departments to ensure seamless information flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in public administration preferred
- 1+ years of administrative/clerical experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Basic knowledge of municipal operations and local government structure
- Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
