Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to senior centers, community organizations, and public housing developments
- Coordinate and facilitate educational workshops on senior benefits and resources
- Develop culturally appropriate multilingual educational materials
- Track program metrics and prepare monthly activity reports
- Collaborate with city agencies and non-profit partners on senior initiatives
- Assist with event planning and logistics for community engagement activities
- Provide accurate information on city services to seniors and caregivers
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 60 college credits in social work, public administration, or related field
- 1+ years experience in community outreach, social services, or customer service
- Excellent verbal communication skills with multilingual ability preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data tracking systems
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for events
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
