Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community outreach programs targeting underserved populations in San Jose
- Conduct public education workshops on state benefits (CalFresh, Medi-Cal, etc.)
- Build partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and faith-based organizations
- Collect and analyze community feedback to improve service delivery
- Manage social media and digital communication channels for public awareness
- Prepare monthly progress reports and maintain accurate client records
- Assist with bilingual outreach services (Spanish/English preferred)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Social Services, Public Administration, or related field
- 1+ years experience in community outreach or public service roles
- Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid California Driver's License with reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Pass background check and fingerprinting for state clearance
