Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct community outreach events across Miami-Dade County neighborhoods
- Develop and distribute informational materials about county programs and services
- Collect and document resident feedback to inform policy improvements
- Coordinate with other government agencies and community organizations
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and resident interactions
- Assist with social media campaigns promoting public awareness initiatives
- Support emergency preparedness education and public safety campaigns
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in community outreach or public engagement
- Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
