Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach events for NYC Parks' community programs across all five boroughs
- Develop multilingual materials (Spanish/Chinese priority) for diverse populations
- Manage social media campaigns promoting park initiatives and events
- Collect and analyze community feedback to improve park services
- Collaborate with local organizations and elected officials
- Track program metrics and prepare monthly impact reports
- Support seasonal event logistics and volunteer coordination
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in public administration, communications, or social sciences
- 1+ years community outreach or public relations experience
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- Valid New York State driver's license preferred
