Responsibilities
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding county services, procedures, and regulations.
- Process applications and maintain accurate records in the departmental database.
- Monitor and enforce county bylaws and operational standards during assigned shifts.
- Conduct community outreach to educate residents on available resources and programs.
- Collaborate with full-time staff to ensure seamless operations during peak hours and events.
- Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in government, customer service, or public administration preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on public relations.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer navigation.
