Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize confidential veteran records and documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Process and prioritize incoming requests, correspondence, and administrative forms
- Coordinate scheduling for meetings, appointments, and departmental events
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and record-keeping systems
- Provide professional support to staff and veterans via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Support compliance audits through documentation preparation and file management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on administrative projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Strong attention to detail with accuracy in documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of federal record-keeping procedures preferred
