Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications using VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Process and maintain confidential veteran records with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate with VA medical centers and community partners
- Prepare correspondence and reports for senior leadership review
- Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars
- Support veteran outreach initiatives and community events
- Ensure compliance with federal records management regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with federal databases preferred
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
