Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit claims documentation with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and meetings using federal systems
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and statistical summaries
- Manage filing systems ensuring compliance with federal recordkeeping standards
- Assist with special projects including outreach events and community engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve veteran service issues
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check and security clearance
- Strong attention to detail with error-free documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
