Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews and assess eligibility for federal assistance programs.
- Manage and update complex case files with strict adherence to privacy regulations and federal standards.
- Coordinate schedules for medical appointments and inter-agency meetings.
- Process incoming correspondence and route inquiries to the appropriate departments efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain statistical reports on program performance metrics.
- Assist in the organization of community outreach events within the Albuquerque area.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Veterans and their families via phone and email.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Completion of a background investigation and favorable adjudication is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or clerical experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
