Responsibilities
- Process and maintain confidential veteran records using federal documentation systems
- Coordinate scheduling for medical appointments and veteran outreach programs
- Assist with correspondence, forms processing, and data entry (minimum 40 WPM)
- Support veterans with benefit inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely service delivery
- Maintain compliance with federal privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Perform quality assurance checks on administrative documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clerical or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic records management
- Ability to pass federal background check and security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities with diverse populations
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
