Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate veteran benefit documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Manage digital and physical records using VA-specific systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve benefit inquiries within SLAs
- Assist in data entry, filing, and archiving of sensitive veteran records
- Support outreach initiatives for veteran benefit programs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal employment guidelines)
- Minimum 1 year clerical/administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic database systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
- Excellent communication (written/oral) and customer service abilities
