Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends and support veteran healthcare programs
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Document methodologies and maintain audit trails for all analytical processes
- Support ad-hoc requests from senior leadership and program managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with federal reporting standards and data governance frameworks
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle sensitive information securely
- Experience with VA-specific systems or DoD data platforms preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a regulated environment
