Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reports and dashboards using SQL, Python, and R
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across federal systems and databases
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and policy analysts on public health initiatives
- Document methodologies and create reproducible analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with federal or healthcare data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (e.g., CMS, CDC datasets)
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Certification in federal data security training (preferred)
