Responsibilities
- Collect & Clean Data: Gather, verify, and organize complex datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness for federal reporting.
- Report Generation: Create clear, concise, and professional data visualizations and reports using Microsoft Excel, Access, and Tableau.
- Database Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and updating of internal databases to ensure data integrity and security standards are met.
- Trend Analysis: Support senior analysts in interpreting data trends and identifying patterns that can improve operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Support: Prepare presentation materials and documentation for government stakeholders and internal review boards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine audits of data entry and processing to identify and rectify errors promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Information Systems, or Criminal Justice) is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We are looking for recent graduates or career changers with a strong aptitude for numbers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high standards of data accuracy.
- Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to undergo a federal background investigation and obtain a Secret clearance.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical data to non-technical audiences.
