Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate federal datasets from multiple sources to ensure high data integrity.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design and maintain interactive data visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools to present findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports and technical memoranda for government leadership and clients.
- Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, NIST standards, and agency security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize reporting workflows.
- Assist in the implementation of data governance policies and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal government or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases.
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance (required for federal roles).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
